MUCHIBUS THANKIBUS JAMES JOYCE
Given a cigarette in Dublin's Temple Bar, the recipient lights it and says, Muchibus thankibus. See Chapter 7 of James Joyce's ULYSSES. Now is the very time for muchibus thankibus. Latinius nonsense words for nonsense times. Yet, they do make complete sense don't they? E pluribus unibus and all that. The digitally created design includes an adapted drawing by Joyce of Leopold Bloom from Ulysses. The work is available in different print sizes here on Artspan site. And on stuff in our KetchumArt Red Bubble Shop. See www.redbubble.com/people/KetchumArt/shop. And, thankibus!
