CARDON DOUBLE NEGATIVE
CARDON DOUBLE NEGATIVE is an 8X6 limited edition signed print made from an adapted and manipulated black and white photo, probably from the late 40s early 50s. The original photo was a montage. I am not sure if the young man and the man shot from the side are one and the same. Maybe father and son? I hope so. I was drawn to the original by the powerful eye contact of the sitter and the mystery of the partially seen second person. Even as ghostly presences, the both were undeniably there. I named him Cardon for my late and beloved neighbor, Cardon.
