THE SMELL OF LOVE THRILL ME AGAIN PERFUME is a 20x16 acrylic on stretched canvas. THRILL ME AGAIN is an adaptation of a 1930s perfume label from the VALMORE Company founded in Chicago in 1926. It specialized in products for Black communities. Most of the company’s artwork was done at the time by Charles Dawson, a commercial artist.
