E IS FOR ECDYSIAST is a 24x18 work on wood. Acrylics, found photos, photo dyes, oil pens, markers, etc were used. The images are on It is one in an alphabet project.
The found photos used include glossy publicity photos of ecdysiasts (strippers.) The glossies were copied, enlarged and cut out, and their autographs were as well. An actual kiss planted on a 3x5 card is on the work just above the evangelist. The Elf is at the middle, top. I know no one shown in the found photos. Copies, not my originals, were used to make the collage.
